Can you imagine yourself walking in a forest (or even if a city for that matter) in total darkness? You might walk for some time but surely you wont be able to reach your goal. So if you cannot do so on a mortal road, how can you imagine to walk on the path of life itself without God being there to show you light? Just check out about the type of illumination you need.
