Its a site that is focused on spreading the measage of Jesus Christ to the world.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
It was our hunger to see peoples life changed by the gospel and with the power of the internet we could reach more people than ever before.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I think it was in 2000. It was a site with a bunch of my favorite pictures on it. Made the site just to play around with HTML.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
My assistant pastor was the one with came up with the name.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
What makes this site different from other christian sites is it just has regular people who share the message of Jesus.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our goal is to reach the entire world with the message of Jesus Christ.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I believe the investment of time and money don't even begain to compare to the success of the site. The success of the site is worth all the time and money we put into it.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Maybe add live content to the site, more camera equipment, ect.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Oh yeah I would recuit plently of help.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
I guess getting the video uploaded to the site was a little of a headache. We ended up using Godtube as our place to upload our videos and then linking the videos to the site for now.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Getting all the material uploaded to the site.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Search engines and word of mouth.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
No not at all. I love what I do.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I have run the site since July 2008 and I plan on running the site as long as I feel that is what God wants me to do. No matter if we get big gains in traffic or not.
