Unlike that of some other holy books in which many other religions are based, The Bible in itself, is full of inconsistencies.Quite understandable is this also, since it is really a collection of smaller books that may, or may not have been coordinated during the particular time of writing.
For this reason, with a lot of mysteries coupled with inconsistencies, it is very much possible to have some very different interpretations, when coming down to such matters. This issue has long been the center of much argument in many a discussion.
